Activity 6: The Incas
- Objetivo: Utilizar el pasado simple para hablar sobre el pasado.
- Competencia: Utiliza el pasado simple para hablar de otras culturas y usa el presente simple para contrastar esa cultura con la suya respetando la interculturalidad y la diversidad de creencias, valores, ideas y prácticas sociales considerando las oportunidades del contexto.
- Contenido: Simple Past: Regular and Irregular Verbs, Simple Present, articles a/an/the, personal pronouns, but, etc.
- The Incas had an emperor but today we have a president.
- The common people were organized in groups but today we have to work by selves.
- The Incas received a basic education, they taught to count and they have to stay in the war but today we have a kindergarden, elementary school and university. Then we have to look for a work.
- The Incas lived in South America it can de easily divided into three deographicañ regions - mountains, jungle, and desert. And Mexicans live in North America.
- The Incas houses was made with rocks, the roof had a form like balago, and it didn't have enough windows. In Mexico our houses are of cement and bricks, it has windows, doors, and it has some rooms.
- They didn't hace transport, they only used feet. Now in Mexico we have a cars, buses, airplanes and so.
- The main product was grown potatoes, which prepared with different types of potato flour, also other tubers as mashua, elm and oca. On the coast grown sweet potatoes, beans, etc. Now in México, we prepare a lot of dishes, like pozole, enchiladas, guajolotes, etc. The principal food is the tortilla, or beans.
